What chassis do you own/use?

Gold Firefox - 32mm A Frame

This is the exact same kart that I used in the 90’s.

Had it stored for a rainy day for some reason that was beyond me at the time (Probably emotional attachment). Then, the rainy day came…..Thanks Oliver!

What engines do you own/use?

Rotax DSD x2 (Ex Works team) Sirio, Fulaga

What carbs do you own/use?

Ibea L3 Special

Baroni BF24

Hubchen

Previous racing experience (if any).

Jnr Mini Cross, Rally X, 160C, 100cc 24Hrs Endurance racing, Rotax MAX Sprints and Endurance racing in UK

What got you involved in F100?

Simply to return to the karts I loved in the 90’s. The Sound, The Smell, The Agility.

It’s just a shame I am not as competitive as I’d like to be driving around at 170Kgs all up.

Heavyweight class please Oliver? J

Who do you come karting with?

GMS are my chosen race team. They support me in all areas of my karting. Preparation, Storage, Transport, Coaching, Set Up & Race day support.

Goals for the season?

Top 10 Finish Overall in Pre 2k would be amazing.

Most of us have a bit of kit that we want more than anything, but don’t have, what bit of kit is it for you?

I got rid of my 90’s Mir/GOLD Kart Race suit many years ago.

Would like to replace it if anybody sees one. (Perhaps Paul Ozzanne has a few kicking around?)

What kart and/or racing drivers inspired you when growing up?

I was all grown up to be honest when Darren Gibbs came onto my radar. The ‘Gibbsy Flick’ left its impression on me.

There are many styles that one admires. I remember watching Mickey Allen and Terry Fullerton in the 70’s in awe. Panrucker left his mark too.

Learnt the art of trance driving from watching them.

Oh, better mention David Griffiths too in ICA ;-) before I’m stood down. He still leaves his mark on me!

If F100 was like boxing and you walked to the grid with your song playing, what would the song be?

Bit of Drum and Bass is always good.

Anything with a Flat out tempo of 180BPM

Wicked! Wicked!
